A TODO list application for GNOME?
I use Tomboy to keep my todo list around, but it requires me checking the notes manually which makes it easy to actually forget to do something. So, my question is - does anyone know of a small, compact todo list application that supports date/time alerts, notifications, prioritizing and categorization of entries? Tomboy has some of it, but I'd rather use an app created specifically for the purpose of managing such a list. If you do know such a program - please let me know!

why don't you use the Evolution Task Manager?
gTodo is getting a little long in the tooth, but it works rather well, and has everything you asked for.
I use the Remember The Milk web service. They send me mail and notify me via jabber.
I can whoop a application like this in C# and Mono...
Thanks for the comments guys :)
eoin: this app looks interesting, should be pretty much what I'm looking for.
midget: that would require me to use evolution, which I'm not going to switch to :) - it's everything but light and small ;)
ray: I tried to use gTodo, but as you say it requires some involvement to get used to, and I'm rather short on time these days... :)
beza1e1: that sounds cool, but I sometimes work offline - need the stuff around :(
stojance: that would be a cool addition to the mono galore of apps!
Thanks again for the suggestions, folks!
use gpe-todo from the GPE PIM suite.
there are ubuntu packages for it..just search with synaptic
Why not support Weeko, my GSoC proposal for Mono mentoring?
